Artist's Description

'Taken' is an open edition of a colored pencil drawing. We all share a responsibility for the care of the wild mustang. The expression in these horses' eyes touched me deeply, and I could feel their confusion and desperation at the trauma they had endured. The drawing was also a finalist at the Ex Arte Equinus 5 International Equine Art Competition and appears in Issue #14 of Art Horse Magazine and the Ex Arte Equinus 5 book.
